Blackwattle Farm is one of the closest Bed and Breakfasts and Farm Stay to Australia Zoo, and provides two types of accommodation.
The Self Contained Rainforest Cabin, accommodates up to four people but suitable for two with open planned living, a KIng size bed, large lounge kitchenette, fridge, microwave, IPOD dock, TV in both rooms, separate bedroom with two king singles, access to luxury bathroom with claw foot bath and farm views from both rooms, large outdoor entertaining areas, with BBQ, and outdoor fireplace. A continental breakfast hamper is provided including honey from the farm and homemade jams.
Our new tiny house on wheels sleeps up to four people and suitable for two. It has two lofts one queen and the other with two singles. You must be comfortable with climbing stairs and not suitable for children under seven years of age. It has a lounge, TV, music dock, reverse cycle aircon/heating, fan, a full kitchenette, fridge, microwave sink ect. It also has a small private bathroom with standing shower and vanity. Outside there is a large entertaining area, BBQ and a fancy no smell compost toilet off the deck. There is an outside fireplace, and a huge organic garden to collect fresh salads and herbs from.
We have a variety of farm animals including Alpaccas, Miniature Pigs, chickens, miniature goats ducks and Dexter Cows. Guests are welcome to help feed them in the afternoons. We also have a huge organic vegetable garden which you are most welcome to harvest from during your stay, and we pride ourselves on providing, homemade, local and organic food and products where we can.
So here at Blackwattle Farm, you have the best of both worlds, a Safe Haven to relax and unwind in, yet only a short distance from the Glasshouse Mountains, the many Hinterland Villages and Unique Walks of the Blackall Range of South East Queensland, the Eumundi markets the Beautiful Golden Beaches from Caloundra and Mooloolaba to Noosa.
The famous Australia Zoo is only 5 minutes away, and the Beerwah township provides all your needs.

Continue NORTH on the Bruce Highway taking EXIT 163 to Steve Irwin Way and Australia Zoo, continue for 15 kilometres, turn left at the Beerwah traffic lights, (GO TO LAST BIT)
Traveling from the NORTH:
Continue SOUTH on the Bruce Highway taking the Landsborough EXIT to Steve Irwin Way and Australia Zoo, continue past Australia Zoo, turn RIGHT at the Beerwah traffic lights, (GO TO LAST BIT)
LAST BIT :
Continue straight through the Roundabout to the next set of traffic lights, TURN Left onto the Kilcoy Beerwah Road. Continue for 3.5 kilometres, OLD PEACHESTER ROAD is on your left, continue along OLD PEACHESTER ROAD for 1 kilometre. BLACKWATTLE FARM will appear on your left.
Follow the road up to the farmhouse.
