The Arthur Phillip is a family owned and operated motel boasting 12 superbly appointed ground floor units. Our spacious rooms are the ideal choice for any type of traveller. We pride ourselves on cleanliness and friendly customer service. Our quiet location and spacious property is popular with guests who are looking for a peaceful nights sleep whilst still being in walking distance to restaurants and the town centre. Each air-conditioned room has a microwave, a refrigerator, an electric kettle. Ironing facilities, electric blankets and a private bathroom with free toiletries is standard in all room types. Some rooms have a relaxing spa bath.

Free public parking (1 Park per room) is available on site (reservation is not needed). Trailer parking is available for caravans, boats, motorbike and racing car trailers. No Truck access past the concrete driveway.

Take the Phillip Island exit at Anderson onto the Phillip Island Tourist Road (B420) through to SanRemo and over the bridge. Continue into Cowes approx 15 minute drive and The Arthur Phillip is the first Motel on the right hand side of the road about 300 metres past the RSL Club.

Booking Policy

You must be 18 years and older to book accommodation. Under 18 years of age must be accompanies by an adult. Government-issued photo identification required (Drivers Licence, Proof of Age or Passport) and a credit card with the same name as ID.

Cancellation Policy

You may cancel free of charge until 2 days before arrival. During Peak Season 1st December - 31st January and Special Events you need to cancel 30 days before arrival. Otherwise a cancellation fee of the first night will apply.

Checkin Policy

Check in time starts at 2 PM until 8.30PM You must provide Photo Id ie: Drivers License or Passport and a Valid Credit Card at time of check in. There is No Electric Car charging allowed on the Property. Bass Coast Shire provide Charging Station at The Local Bus Terminus

Child Policy

Children are most welcome. Our only exception being the Queen Spa rooms. No Children under the age of 18 yrs allowed to stay in the spa rooms. We respect the Pool and Spa regulations and request that guests adhere to to our No Children Spa Room Policy.

Deposit Policy

You will be charged a prepayment of your stay in the 2 days before arrival. In Peak Period Season 1St December - 31st January, a Deposit In Full is Required 30 days prior to Check in date or at time of booking if less than 30 days prior to Check in date.

No-show Policy

In case of No Show, 100% of first night will be charged.

Other Policy

There is no capacity for extra beds in the room. No pets allowed. Seeing Eye Dogs are the only animal acceptable to stay in the Motel rooms. Housekeeping is provided on request & is not available on public holidays. A Valid Credit Card must be provided at time of Booking and through out the Booking dates
