Yanada is a luxurious and secluded country home set upon 38 acres of beautiful bushland next to the McDonald river

Yanada is a magical place that works harmoniously with the environment and provides a restful and safe space for groups to take time out to relax, reflect and rejuvenate.

The setting is remote and idyllic with complete privacy assured. Nestled between the McDonald river and the Yengo Mountains, you will unwind as soon as you enter the driveway.

We have six rooms and two glamping tents available for guests wishing to relax, explore the property or beautiful area. A continental breakfast can be provided for Bed and Breakfast guests. The St Albans Pub serves excellent lunches and dinners or, on request in advance we can cater for other meals as well.

Yanada is 2km outside the historic village of St Albans and 15 minutes from Wisemans Ferry and the Hawkesbury River. There are numerous bush walks possible on the property; and a walk across farmland for a swim or kayak in the river.

Getting There :
Driving from Sydney IGNORE GOOGLE or GPS! - some systems avoid ferries and try to take you on a 4 hour trip to the Central Coast and back We are about between 90min and 2hr from Sydney CBD depending on traffic. Cross the bridge or tunnel, take the M2 (Lane Cove Tunnel), Take exit Pennant Hills Road A28 towards Pennant Hills/Castle Hill After 1.2 km take left onto Castle Hill Rd In 650m turn right at the lights into New Line Road towards Dural After 6.2km turn onto Old Northern Rd (Tourist Drive 15), follow signs to all the way Wisemans Ferry At Wisemans Ferry. Turn left and take the Webbs Creek ferry (NOT Wisemans Ferry) across to St Albans Road. The Ferry runs 24 hrs a day and takes about 5 mins. Turn right onto St Albans Road Follow St Albans Road for 17.6km (about 15 min drive) . We are on the left, soon after the Sae Soon Conference Centre and 2.5 km before St Albans village.


Dining :
We can provide catering for larger groups if arranged in advance. We do not normally provide meals for bed and breakfast guests other than breakfast and tea / coffee. Nearby The St Albans Pub serves lunches daily and dinners Thurs - Sunday. Otherwise there are some restaurants in Wisemans Ferry that we can recommend.

Terms & Conditions


Booking Policy

Use Credit Card option to pay a deposit or in full using STRIPE A booking is not confirmed until payment is received. The minimum number of adults is 10 and this will be charged as a minimum for a whole house booking regardless of final number of guests. Full payment is required 28 days prior to arrival. Individual room bookings are taken up to 3 weeks in advance.

Cancellation Policy

SINGLE ROOM Single Room Cancellation must be at least 48 hours prior to check-in for full refund. Any cancellation less than 48 hours the first night's accommodation will be charged. WHOLE HOUSE 6.2. 50% of your deposit is refundable in the event of a cancellation made more than two months before the booking date. 6.3. Your deposit is non-refundable in the event of a cancellation made within two months of the booking date. 6.4. No money refundable in the event of a cancellation made within 28 days of the booking date. 6.5. A variation of the Booking which reduces the number of nights stay, changes the dates or reduces the number of guests will be a treated as a cancellation. 6.7. An administration charge of $150 will be charged for any other type of variation. 6.8. If you have paid more than the deposit or paid in full and cancel your booking you will be refunded the additional amount (subject to the above clauses). Checkin Policy

Please phone to confirm your check in time and provide a mobile contact number min. 24 hours prior to arrival. Check in / out times may be varied on request subject to availability. Extra charges may apply.

Child Policy

Children under 12 charged at 60% of adult rate. We reserve the right to limit number children depending on number of adults and general availability.

Deposit Policy

For all whole house bookings a 20% deposit is required to secure the booking. A booking is not confirmed until deposit is received. Full payment is then required 28 days before all whole house bookings.

No-show Policy

In case of no show for single room rental the first night's accommodation will be charged in full and 50% of the total price of remaining reservation will be charged. No refund in case of no show for pre paid whole house booking.

Other Policy

WHOLE HOUSE Your Credit Card details are held securely as a bond until your departure. Details will be destroyed once our property has been inspected and deemed left in a similar state to your arrival. We agree to ensure this occurs within 7 working days of your departure. Any damage, loss or expense incurred by Management as a result of your breach of these Terms & Conditions will be charged against the bond. Examples of this include but are not limited to any breakage, damage or excess cleaning requirements, extra guests beyond those declared. If the Property becomes unavailable for your occupancy due to unforeseen circumstances (eg. fire, storm, damage, etc) then Management will inform you immediately and endeavour to obtain suitable alternative accommodation for your occupancy; failing which any moneys paid will be refunded in full. We supply linen, pillows, blankets and towels which must be left where supplied in the bedrooms or laundry on departure. Further linen may be hired through Management. Beach / pool / river towels are not included. Cleaning and linen change usually occurs weekly or more often upon request and at additional cost. Pets are not allowed at the Property unless agreed in advance by management. You are responsible for damage, breakages, theft and loss of the Property and any part of it during your stay. You must notify us of this immediately. Management may recover from you repair or replacement cost (at Management's discretion). Only the guests nominated and agreed in the Booking may stay in the Property over night. If any other guests stay extra charges may apply or the agreement may be terminated without refund. Disturbance to our neighbours, including excessive noise, is prohibited and may result in termination and eviction without refund and extra charges may be made for security and other expenses. Smoking is not permitted inside the Property
