Breakaway Serviced apartments are Cowra's newest accommodation, just opened in April 2010. With an inviting five star feel, Breakaway Serviced Apartments offer irresistible boutique-style one and two bedroom serviced accommodation.

Conveniently located just one block from Kendal Street, these apartments are just minutes from the Cowra CBD. It's only a short stroll to the many boutique shops, cafes and restaurants Cowra has to offer. Visit the Japanese Gardens, enjoy a round of golf, or indulge yourself in the award-winning wineries and restaurants scattered throughout the Cowra region.

The private and luxuriously appointed one and two bedroom apartments are fully self-contained and air-conditioned, providing a comfortable base for both families and the business executive.

Each apartment has a very large and modern kitchen and is situated next to the living area boasting an open plan. Both apartments have LCD TVs with second TV in bedroom, DVD player, leather lounges, hairdryers, irons and electric blankets. Each apartment has its own lock up garage.

Each apartment can accommodate up to 5 people. Bedding is 1 queen in one room and a queen and a single in the other room with a walk-in wardrobe.

Both overnight and short term stays available. Weekend bookings are a minimum 2 night stay. Long term stays are at a discounted rate. Please contact Bernadette for long term rates.

Getting There :
6 Railway Street If driving into town from Bathurst, continue along Kendal Street, past KFC and take first turn left into Darling Street and then left into Railway Street. We are at No. 6 Railway Street. From Canberra drive though two sets of traffic lights in Kendal Street. Take the next right into Darling Street and then left into Railway Street. 35B London Drive If driving from Bathurst drive through Kendal Street to first set of traffic lights. Turn right at traffic lights and continue along Brisbane Street for about 1.7 kilometres and turn right into Comerford Street. Take next left into London Drive. We are located 200m on right hand side. From Canberra drive through Kendal Street to the second set of traffic lights. Turn right at traffic lights and continue along Brisbane Street for about 1.7 kilometres and turn right into Comerford Street. Take next left into London Drive. We are located 200 metres on right hand side.


Dining :
Cowra has many and varied restaurants. The Railway Hotel is located just around the corner which offers a varied and extensive menu which is great for reps and families. Countryman restaurant, Lachlan Valley Restaurant and Hong Chinese are also located just around the corner. Cowra is also lucky to boast a Chefs Hat in the restaurant "Neila" which is located in the main street of Cowra. Lot 31 and Imperial Hotel are also located about 100 metres from Neila. The Quarry Restaurant is another outstanding dining experience which is located on the road to Canberra which is about 4 kilometres from town. This is also a great winery. Well worth the drive.

Booking Policy

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations for bookings mid week and only one night will have 72 hours to cancel without charge. For more than one night stays, if you cancel your booking less than 14 days prior to your arrival date, your deposit is not refundable unless we are able to re-book your room for the same period. Bookings cancelled after the 14-day cancellation policy will only be refundable under exceptional circumstances and at the discretion of management.

Checkin Policy

Please note there is no reception for these apartments. Upon booking we will email you a confirmation which will detail a code for you to obtain your key from the box located outside your particular unit. On check-out, keys are to be left on kitchen bench and the door locked.

Child Policy

Deposit Policy

A deposit of 50% of our total fee is required to confirm your booking. if the booking is made within 14 days prior to arrival the total amount must be paid to confirm your booking. The balance of payment will be charged upon arrival.

No-show Policy

No show without advising management will result in full payment. Bookings will only be refunded at the discretion of management.

Other Policy

Number of guests should not exceed the number stated on the booking form or subsequently agreed in writing or email. Fees will apply for excess guests not agreed with the owners in advance. Parties and functions are strictly prohibited - excessive noise may result in eviction. No refund will be due. Breakaway Apartments has a Strict NON Smoking Policy within our accommodation. A fine of $150 for cleaning will be issued if this conditions is breached. Keys are to be left on the kitchen bench upon departure of premises. Lost or stolen keys - $100. Attempts will be made to contact the guest who will be given the opportunity to return keys taken. Failure to do so will result in the fee being charged to their credit card, or bond. Standard cleaning services on your departure are included in your rates. Guests are expected to leave properties in a neat and tidy condition, with washing up removed from sink and placed in dishwasher. Dishwasher is to be put on before departing the apartment. You are responsible for all cleaning charges if the property is left in a state that requires more than standard cleaning. Room degradation (such as vomit, bodily waste, general damage and any problem sufficient to result in a room being withdrawn from its availability to be let) will incur a fee of $150 per offence, plus a daily room tariff to be advised by the management, in accordance with business demand on the day, until the said room is considered to be in a saleable condition. Any loss or damage to the property, garden or contents will be charged to the credit card held on file or invoiced to your accommodation provider. Breakaway Apartments are not responsible for articles left in Apartments or Cars. Breakaway Apartments assume no responsibility for loss of money, jewels or other valuables. Pets are not allowed.
