Yanada is a luxurious and secluded country home set upon 38 acres of beautiful bushland next to the McDonald river

Yanada is a magical place that works harmoniously with the environment and provides a restful and safe space for groups to take time out to relax, reflect and rejuvenate.

The setting is remote and idyllic with complete privacy assured. Nestled between the McDonald river and the Yengo Mountains, you will unwind as soon as you enter the driveway.

We have six rooms and two glamping tents available for guests wishing to relax, explore the property or beautiful area. A continental breakfast can be provided for Bed and Breakfast guests. The St Albans Pub serves excellent lunches and dinners or, on request in advance we can cater for other meals as well.

Yanada is 2km outside the historic village of St Albans and 15 minutes from Wisemans Ferry and the Hawkesbury River. There are numerous bush walks possible on the property; and a walk across farmland for a swim or kayak in the river.

Dining

We can provide full catering for retreats if arranged well in advance. We can not provide meals for self catered bookings and do not normally provide meals for bed and breakfast guests other than breakfast and tea / coffee.

Nearby The St Albans Pub serves lunches daily and dinners Thurs - Sunday. Otherwise there are some restaurants in Wisemans Ferry that we can recommend.

Terms and Conditions

Booking Policy

3.3. The minimum number of adults is 10 for Holiday Lets and Self Catered Retreats and 12 for Catered Retreats. This will be charged as a minimum, regardless of final number of guests.
3.4. Minimum nights stay policy of 2 nights (3 nights over Public Holiday weekends) and this will be charged as a minimum for a whole house booking.
3.5. Full payment is required 28 days prior to arrival. This payment is taken automatically from your credit card used to make the deposit using the STRIPE payment system, unless you request otherwise in writing.
3.6. If full payment is not received on time your booking will be cancelled automatically without notice or liability to you and no refund of deposit will be provided.
3.7. If booking is made within this 28 day period full payment is required to secure the booking.
3.8. Payments of the amount due must be received in Australian Dollars net of any bank or other transaction charges.


10. ORGANISERS RESPONSIBILITIES
10.1. Organisers are responsible for the protection and safety of their guests. Retreat organisers must have own professional and personal insurances. Certificates of Currency may be required to be provided to Management. Yanada holds Public Liability Insurance but will take no responsibility for damage or injury resulting from the action or instruction of a retreat facilitator.
10.2. You are responsible for making guests aware of safety issues and dangers on the property and for ensuring you are aware of all possible safety issues relating to the property.

Deposit Policy

3.1. A 20% deposit is required to secure a booking. Credit Card payment can be made directly on our booking page using the STRIPE payment system. Payment can also be made by Bank Transfer, if requested in writing.
3.2. A booking is never confirmed until deposit payment is received.

8. SECURITY BOND
8.1. A bond payment of $5000 is required at the same time as the outstanding balance of your Booking. It will be credited to your designated payment method once our property has been inspected and deemed left in a similar state to your arrival. We agree to ensure this occurs within 7 working days of your departure.
8.2. Alternatively, a credit card authorisation must be provided to Management upon confirmation of your Booking. This is provided automatically when booking on our website. Credit Card details are automatically destroyed by the system 28 days after your booking.
8.3. Any damage, loss or expense incurred by Management as a result of your breach of these Terms & Conditions will be charged against the bond or credit card. Examples of this include but are not limited to any breakage, damage or excess cleaning requirements, extra guests or visitors beyond those declared and paid for.

1. ACCEPTANCE & RESPONSIBILITY.
1.1. Payment of the Deposit constitutes a contact between the Organiser and Yanada, your acceptance of these Terms and Conditions and of the Yanada COVID Safety Plan.
1.2. You acknowledge and consent that Yanada can collect and keep personal information about you, including your name, address, credit card or payment details, email address and telephone number. You further acknowledge Yanada may also need to disclose your personal information as required by law, or in order to fulfill our contractual obligations with another as determined as reasonably necessary to review, maintain or improve functions, activities or services relating to the design or delivery of your booking.
1.3. We recommend all guests purchase travel insurance.

Cancellation Policy

6.1. If you wish to vary or cancel your booking, please contact us immediately, ensuring you receive an acknowledgement.
6.2. 50% of your deposit is refundable in the event of a cancellation made more than two months before the booking date.
6.3. Your deposit is non-refundable in the event of a cancellation made within two months of the booking date.
6.4. No money refundable in the event of a cancellation made within 28 days of the booking date.
6.5. A variation of the Booking which reduces the number of nights stay or changes the dates will be a treated as a cancellation of the Booking in respect of those nights.
6.6. A variation of the Booking which reduces the number of guests or nights will be treated as a cancellation of the Booking in respect of those guests.
6.7. An administration charge of $150 will be charged for any other type of variation.
6.8. If you have paid more than the deposit or paid in full and cancel your booking you will be refunded the additional amount (subject to the above clauses).
6.9. Should you be eligible for a refund it will be made through your chosen payment method at time of Booking.
6.10. Guests are responsible for taking out travel and health insurance and checking with their provider to ensure that they have adequate coverage, should they not be able to attend for any reason.
6.11. Yanada may become unavailable for your occupancy due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control (force majeure) such as war, strife, civil disobedience, strikes, terrorist activity, fires, floods, other natural disasters, public health orders etc. No compensation or refund will be made in these circumstances, unless Yanada is able to recover any related sums from their own insurer. In the event of cancellation arising from circumstances beyond our control, sums recovered by us will be distributed equitably to the organiser.
6.12. If such cancellation is NOT due to circumstances beyond our control, we will provide credit or refund.

No Show Policy

In case of no show for single room rental the first night's accommodation will be charged in full and 50% of the total price of remaining reservation will be charged.

No refund in case of no show for pre paid whole house booking.

Child Policy

4.1. We reserve the right to limit number children depending on number of adults and general availability.
4.2. No Children are allowed on Retreats

Check-in Policy

2.1. Check-in time for Holiday Lets is not before14.00. Check out time for Holiday Lets is 10.00. Check in time for a Retreat Organiser is not before 14.00. Check in time for Retreat Guests is not before 16.00. Check out time for retreats is 14.00.
2.2. Early Arrival / Late departure may be requested and is subject to prior arrangement and availability. Extra charges may apply.
2.3. You must notify Management of expected arrival / departure times at least 1 week prior.

7. COVID-19
7.1. Yanada is a Registered COVID-Safe premises and any person entering the property is required to abide by our current COVID Safety Plan. This plan will vary frequently and is published separately.
7.2. You acknowledge that you will read, understand and agree to the current COVID Safety Plan before booking and again before arrival at Yanada, noting that the plan may have changed.
7.3. If at any time you fail to comply with the Yanada COVID Safety plan you will be required to leave without refund or credit.
7.4. Notwithstanding clauses in (6) above a credit for booking will be provided, for the time being, in the following circumstances:
7.4.1. Cancellation of Booking or reduction or variation of guests due to an unforeseen change to the NSW Public Health Order (e.g. enforced lockdowns, restrictions on amount of participants or travel).
7.4.2. Interstate guests unable to attend due to unforeseen and enforceable restrictions from their State or Territory Government (does not apply to unenforceable advice).
7.4.3. A guest unable to attend due to testing positive for COVID-19. Medical Certificate required.
7.5. No other credits or refunds will be considered.
7.6. If any of the above results in guest numbers falling below 12, in the case of a catered retreat, (or 10 for self catered or holiday let) payment for a minimum of 12 (10 for self catered or holiday let)is still required, OR we will not be able to provide catering and you can change your retreat to self-catered, with 10 days notice.

Other Policy

11. PARTIES AND NOISE
11.1. No parties are permitted.
11.2. No weddings are permitted.
11.3. Disturbance to our neighbours, including excessive noise, is prohibited and may result in termination and eviction without refund and extra charges may be made for security and other expenses.
11.4. Excessive Noise is defined as any noise audible outside the house between 10pm and 8am Sunday to Thursday and between midnight and 9am on Fridays and Saturdays.

10.3. Yanada takes no responsibility for injury or inconvenience resulting from natural events or from the natural environment including that within the property.
10.4. You are on notice that Yanada Pty Ltd, its employees and agents shall have no liability howsoever caused to you or any dependant for personal injury or death suffered by you or any dependant arising in any way whatsoever from the supply by Yanada of services including but not limited to accommodation, catering, experiences and recreational activities. You acknowledge that some recreational services are dangerous activities with many inherent risks as a result of which personal injury (and sometimes death) are common. You by your participation accept all risks of personal injury or death in any way whatsoever arising from your participation in such recreational activities and you and any dependants release and forever discharge Yanada Pty Ltd and its employees and agents from all and any liability and claims arising from the supply and/ or provision of its services.
10.5. You acknowledge and agree Yanada takes no responsibility for loss or damage to personal property, equipment and vehicles before, during or after the booking whatsoever.

10.8. You are responsible for damage, breakages, theft and loss of the Property and any part of it during your stay. You must notify us of this immediately. Management may recover from you repair or replacement cost (at Management's discretion) .
