Orana House
The elegant, sprawling Edwardian villa (built in 1909) that is Orana House set in an enviable location on the eastern side of the Derwent River, making it just a ten-minute into Hobart's and yet a haven of peace and serenity. Even better, it is set in a lovely three-qurter acre garden with view across the river in one direction, and towards Mount Wellington in the other.
There's an enticing selection of in-house rooms in a variety of configurations, all furnished in a manner sympathetic to the era. The favourite would be the Ronald Pearce spa suite with its golden-canopied bed, spa in the en-suite, separate entrance and azure walls. Other rooms have lovely river views. The guest lounge has deep leather couches in front of an open fireplace, a DVD library and access to the wide verandah that is a perfect spot to relax with a drink, or a muffin provided with afternoon tea. Walk in the garden, pop over the Hobart's many attractions or tour north to Richmond and beyond. Just enjoy the peace and history offered at Orana.

Terms and Conditions
Booking Policy
Government-issued photo identification and a credit card or cash deposit are required at check-in for incidental charges. If you exceed number of guests in the booking, additional room rate will be charged subject to availability as our rooms cannot cater for extra beds (regardless of age of extra guests).
Deposit Policy
First Night will be charged at the time of booking. Rest of the deposits will be charged 2 days prior to arrival.
Cancellation Policy
If cancel or modified up to 2 days before arrival, no fee will be charged. If canceled or modified within 2 days of arrival, total cost of the reservation will be charged
No Show Policy
In case of Noshow 100% of first night will be charged.
Child Policy
All children are welcome. All children are charged AUD 70 per night.

Other Policy
A later Checkout time request can be made to the House Manager the night before departure and subject to availability otherwise, a surcharge of $30 per hour will be charged to your credit card after departure.
