You are invited to come, relax and enjoy our luxury, private, self-contained chalet accommodation, a value for money experience by staying at the very best. You will find our chalets clean, comfortable and affordable and our warm friendly hospitality second to none.

Chalets are suitable for the private couples retreat or a wonderful family getaway. All chalets are suitably located to ensure privacy.

Tinglewood Cabins is set on a beautiful picturesque hill top in the Heart of the Walpole Wilderness, in the lush South West of Western Australia. Your chalet will enjoy the surrounds of our majestic Karri and Tingle forest which offers wonderful private walking trails, kangaroos just outside your door morning and night, the singing of a variety of native birds and an abundance of wildflowers in spring.

Tinglewood Cabins provides easy access to the Valley of the Giants and the award winning Tree Top Walk just 10 minutes away, together with bush walking, hiking, climbing, canoeing, fishing, and swimming all within minutes of your chalet.

Adventures are plentiful with town and the inlet 6 minutes away plus inlet cruises, cheese factories, herb farms, toffee outlets, wineries, cafes, restaurants and much much more all close by.

Check In : From 2 PM - 6 PM.
Check Out : Until 10 AM.
Reception Hours : The front desk is open daily from 9 AM to 6 PM.
After Hours : Sharon & Chris do live on site. However, if your arrival is going to be later than 6pm please either phone or text on 0488034904, or email on [email protected] to advise your arrival time.

Getting There : Tinglewood Cabins is located just 8 kms (6 minutes) from the center of Walpole.

On the northern side of town and running off South West Highway (or Highway 1) is North Walpole Road. You will find the turn off for North Walpole Road at a Y shaped intersection approximately 200m from town. Turn into North Walpole Road and travel approximately 8 kms where you will find Bridge Road on your right. Turn into Bridge Road, Tinglewood Cabins is the second property on your left, approx. 850m from the corner of North Walpole Road. You will see our sign.

Please drive up to our office and home, Sharon & Chris will take you up to your chalet.

All our chalets are fully self-contained for your convenience.

Our location is just an 8-minute drive from the Walpole town center. Walpole offers a variety of amenities including a bakery, butcher shop, village grocery store, takeaway food options, and a hotel with a restaurant

All bookings require payment in full.

All bookings require a deposit equal to one nights accommodation when booking through the office.

Cancellations made within 7 days of arrival will incur a 100% cancellation fee, unless the accommodation is rebooked for a mutually acceptable alternative time. Cancellations made more than 7 days prior to arrival will incur a 20% cancellation fee of the total booking cost

A penalty equal to all monies paid will be applied.

Children are welcome in Kookaburra, Bluewren and Rosella Chalets
A cot and highchair are available by prior arrangement only.
All children 2 years old and over will be charged at our additional person rate.

Please report to our Office, all outstanding monies to be paid on arrival.

Please be aware that any damage to the property, chalets, or any missing items will result in charges. These charges will be assessed based on the extent of the damage or the value of the missing items. It is mandatory to report any damage prior to departure.
