Getting There :From either Melbourne or Adelaide follow the A8 (Western Highway) to Stawell then follow the C216 (Grampians Rd). Once in Halls Gap drive past shopping strip and you will see the visitors centre on the left, 50 metres up the road just past the Kookaburra Hotel on the left is Hemley Court, drive to the bottom of the court and welcome to Hemley House.

Terms and Conditions

Booking Policy

Non-refundable deposit of 20%

You can amend your booked dates up to 31 days prior to your arrival; a $50 administrative charge will apply. Beyond 31 days refer to cancellation policy.

A Security Bond of $500.00 for Hemley House is required. This will be held against your card but not charged unless required.

The number of guests should not exceed the number stated on the confirmation booking receipt. Fees will apply for excess guests not agreed with management in advance and termination of the stay without refund. It is the responsibility of the guest whom has made the reservation and given a Credit Card authorization at the time of booking to ensure ALL guests' and visitors' to the property and to abide and understand all Terms and Conditions set out by management.

Please note: Variances can be agreed upon, but only by arrangement with management in writing prior to stay

Check-Out: Check-out time is strictly 10:00am to prepare the property for the next guests. Late check out may be possible by 1 hour, but only if arranged prior to arrival for a small fee.

Deposit Policy

20% Deposit to secure dates - Balance automatically deducted 30 days prior to arrival through payment merchant - Secure online payments

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled or modified within 30 days of check-in date or in case of no-show, 100 percent of the booking value will be charged.

No Show Policy

100 percent of the booking value will be charged.

High chair available for free, cot and linen available for a small fee

Anytime after 2.00pm - Key security lock box.

Arrival instructions will be emailed to you a few days outside from your arrival date with the access code.

Absolutely enjoy the space but please be respectful of the environment. All noise levels must be considerate, especially at night; as this is a home in a suburban setting, and we like to keep our neighbours as friends...
The Homestay space you are booking is for eight persons. It will be very clean on your arrival, and I ask that you leave it neat and free of rubbish on your departure; for if a greater cleaning service is required, then an extra fee will be charged.
This is a family oriented and child friendly home, however children and infants must be under active supervision by a parent or guardian, at all times. All responsibility and duty of care for them must be provided by you, including their personal equipment and needs. - PLEASE NOTE: Children friendly DOES NOT MEAN the area is CHILD-PROOF. It is the responsibility of the guardian/parent to monitor their children's actions AT ALL TIMES.
* Please do not rearrange the furniture.
* Please remove shoes when entering house
* Strictly no crayons, paint, textas, candles, portable gaming devices (Xbox etc) to plug into TV's
* Strictly No pets - Evidence of animals at the property will incur full loss of security bond.
No EXTRA ADULT or children, as overnight visitors.
NO parties or events, no illegal activity or inappropriate anti-social behavior.
- Authorities will be contacted for your removal.
Please let us know immediately if something is malfunctioning so it can be rectified. However, all damages or missing items will need to be paid for by you before departure.

Other Policy

To maintain an excellent standard for our guests I require certain conditions to be complied with. I appreciate most will respect the property but the occasional abuse requires I state the following conditions;
Guests are responsible for the safe keeping and replacement of ALL KEYS to the property and they should remain at the property at all times, and returned the key pad (box) before departure. Loss of keys is counted as a breach, Charges will apply and if management has to return to the property for guests to gain entry, a fee of $100.00 will also be charged.
PARTIES/FUNCTIONS/GATHERINGS: Strictly prohibited. The rate charged during the stay is for domestic use only. Accordingly this rate does not allow for the extra wear & tear associated with parties, functions or gatherings in terms of cleaning, garbage removal, repairs etc. Use contrary to this will result in immediate termination and eviction without refund.
DAMAGES/BREAKAGES, theft and loss are the guests responsibility during the stay. We understand accidents can happen and any such events should be reported ASAP. It is also the guests responsibility to ensure items are placed back where found, i.e.: Chairs, remotes, books, speaker etc. Failure to do so will result in management recovering additional compensation for replacement or repair of items.
Beach towels & towels must not be removed from the property. Please do not remove doonas' or other linen from beds to be used outside of bedrooms or house. We would appreciate any wet or damp towels to be placed in the basket.
To maintain a fresh and healthy environment, this is a strict non-smoking premise. Please smoke near the front fence and place your extinguished smoke butt in the bin.
For fire prevention and safety - please do not leave any electrical appliances switched on when they are not in use, or when you are leaving for the day. This includes split systems, fans, hair dryers or the like and portable device chargers.
