Karamea Homestead is located in a relaxed remote rural setting in Curracabundi National Park, approximately one hour 15 minutes drive North West of Gloucester.
You must book ahead to arrange access to the property.
The homestead is in a remote location, so ensure you’re thoroughly prepared, bring appropriate clothing and equipment, and adequate food. The homestead is fully-furnished and has a full kitchen, four bedrooms (two queen beds and six king size single beds) and two bathrooms, providing comfortable accommodation for up to ten people.

Getting There : From Sydney follow the M1 Motorway to the very end at Beresfield, follow the signs towards Taree, going through Hexham and Heatherbrae on the Pacific Highway. Approx 10 minutes after Heatherbrae take a left turn on to the Bucketts Way (if you miss this turn you will be in Karuah) going through Booral, Stroud (approx 1 hour) into Gloucester. Once you have reached Gloucester go through the main street – Church Street, at the end of the main street is a round about, veer left at the roundabout onto Thunderbolts Way towards Scone and Walcha going past Hardware shop and the Bowling Club on the left. Go over the Gloucester River bridge, you are in the 60km zone. You will then go into an 80km zone, then 100km zone. Please follow directions attached you will be emailed.
