A deposit is required to be paid to the accommodation provider by the person booking accommodation as a gesture of goodwill and a promise between the accommodation provider and the guest to ensure that both parties honour their responsibility. The accommodation provider reserves the right to enforce the following terms:
• A deposit is required to confirm all bookings. The amount of the deposit will be one nights tariff and is required to be paid at the time of the initial booking to confirm the reservation. The remaining balance is due via bank transfer (EFT) or credit card no later than 14 calendar days prior to arrival, ALL card payments will incur a 2% surcharge including deposit if card is used.
• Final Payments may be made by MasterCard, Visa, online Bank transfer (EFT) *2% surcharge applies to card payments.
• Cleaning and Damages: A fixed amount of time is allocated to clean each cottage at guest departure. The cottage should be left in a tidy state which includes washing and drying dishes. Time required for additional cleaning will be charged at $40 per hour or part thereof. The guest is responsible for any damages or breakages. Additional cleaning and damages will be automatically charged to your credit card.
Direct Deposits (EFT) can be made towards your booking at any time, please use your surname and booking number as a reference on any deposit, we will credit your account and send a receipt.

• Credit Card details must be supplied as security for all reservations regardless whether the deposit is to be charged to that credit card. All card payments will incur a 2% surcharge.
• Payments may be made by MasterCard, Visa Card or bank transfer. *bank transfers must be settled within 4 days of booking.

In the event that a guest cancels a reservation the accommodation provider will make all endeavors to fill the cancelled dates.
If a cancellation occurs 30 days or more prior to the check in date the deposit will be refunded minus a $35 admininstration fee.
In the event that a cancellation occurs less than 30 days but more than 14 days to the check in date the fee will be the deposit paid.
If a cancellation occurs less than 14 days prior to check in date, the entire tariff will be forfeit, unless dates are re booked to another party. A pro rata refund will be given minus an administration fee for any dates subsequently rebooked.
Change of date: A change of date will be considered under the same guidelines as for cancellations listed above.
COVID Policy re Isolation: Any cancellation as a result of a positive covid test and need to isolate will incur a 50% tariff cancellation fee. If accommodation is able to be
rebooked a pro rata refund will be given.
COVID Policy: All guests entering the property must be compliant with any and all government directives or mandates in relation to COVID19. In the event a shutdown is enacted by authorities which stops a guest from being able to carry out their intended
stay, we will place any funds held for that booking in trust for a future stay date to be advised by the guest subject to availability. No cancellation charges will be incurred by the guest. If however a refund of funds paid is required our standard cancellation terms will apply.

Full Amount will be forfeit in case of No show at the property on check in date.

Children of any age are welcome.

Infants are children aged 12 months and under and not occupying a bed within the cottage. Portacots and high chairs are available and can be requested during the booking process.

You can Check-IN anytime between 14:00 - 18:00
For check-in after 18:00 you must contact reception for late check-in instructions.

Pets are allowed only within the two pet friendly cottages, Bluegum and Forest.

Pet rules apply as below:
•Dogs must be on the lead at all times. There are areas that are designated for off lead fun dependent on your dog, other visiting dogs and other children. Please see Mark or Kerriann for more information.
•Please ensure that your dogs are settled and reasonably quiet. Dogs often get excited and/or stressed in a new environment with so many different smells and sounds and quiet dogs can suddenly become noisy, even those used to being outside. There are many places in the Southern Forests that will allow you to take your pet (for a full list see Mark or Kerriann) however you can leave your dogs behind at your cottage if you wish to visit a National Park or a restaurant for dinner. If you are concerned that your dog will bark we encourage you to leave your dog inside the cottage to minimise any disturbances. We understand that dogs bark, however, excessive barking* may disturb other guests and neighbours and will not be tolerated. If this does occur during the day we may need to call you back from your day out to settle your dog. If this occurs during the night we will wake you in order to quiet your dog and will expect you to prevent any further disturbances.
•Dogs are allowed in the purpose built dog yards, on the verandah and inside your cottage but not on the furniture or in the bedrooms. Any extra cleaning required due non-compliance will be charged accordingly.
•Your dog’s droppings must be picked up at all times including in the pet pen. A pooper scooper is available at all pet friendly cottages for use in the yard. Please take doggy poo bags with you when you are out and about on the farm.
•Pet owners are responsible for their dog and any injury or damage caused by their dog whilst in the confines of Diamond Forest Farm Stay.
