Captains Cabin

Fully renovated old Mallacoota school room at 2 Fairhaven Dr, turned into a 3 bedroom house capable of accommodating up to six (6) guests for the same rate. It can accommodate up to eight (8) at an additional $20/night. There is one Queen bed, (for 2) a single (1), a single bed bunk (three beds), and a solid sofa bed (2). It is convenient to both the Mallacoota lake as well as township itself and has plenty of off-street parking. It also includes wifi. Pet Friendly. Pet secure fence. Wifi and plenty of space to park your boat and trailer.

The Lookout - Flathead (Unit 11)

Unit 11, Flathead, boasts a beautiful, unobstructed waterfront view that you can enjoy from the patio, lounge and bedroom of your unit. Offering two bedrooms, a bathroom, kitchen and laundry, this is the perfect spot for a getaway or to fish for Flathead. The unit entrance has no steps, which makes access easy for people on/with wheels/prams. This waterfront unit, overlooking Coull’s Inlet, is located 2 blocks from the bakery, bait and tackle shop, cafes, hotel and boat ramp. It is a 7 min walk to the surf beach. Or, you can simply sit and enjoy the view while having a barbeque. Unit 11 comes furnished with one queen, two singles and a trundle bed. There is off street car parking. Boats can be parked in front of Dots Lakehouse, or there’s secure (video surveillance) parking available next to our office, at 3 Dorron Ave. Pets are welcome both inside and outside the unit - however, the yard is not fenced. Remember to bring your pet’s own bowls and bedding. Remember to put anti- tick medication on your dog (Bravecto or similar - Frontline flea, is not strong enough for Mallacoota ticks). If you would like a fenced yard for your dog or young child, Bruces Waterside also offers 7 fenced units ( Units 1,2,5,6,7, the Fisherman’s Cottage and Dots Lakehouse.)

The Lookout - Bream (Unit 10)

Unit 10, Bream, boasts a partial waterfront view that you can enjoy from the patio of your unit. Offering two bedrooms, a bathroom, kitchen and laundry, this is the perfect spot for a getaway, or to fish for Bream. A short walk will find the bakery, bait and tackle shop, cafes, hotel and beach. Or, you can simply sit and enjoy the view while having a barbeque. Unit 10 offers one queen, two singles and a trundle bed. Ample off street parking for cars is also available. Boats can be parked outside Dots Lakehouse, or, if you prefer, there’s secure (video surveillance) parking available next to our office at 3 Dorron Ave. Pets are welcome both inside and outside the unit - however, the yard is not fenced. Village View Unit 3

Unit 3 is not fenced. Enter through the gate at 3 Dorron Ave and Unit 3 is on your left. It has a large fenced paddock (not dog proof) beside it for you to park and wash cars and boats. There is boat mooring at our jetty below the units. (One boat mooring per unit) Unit 3 offers one queen, two singles and a trundle bed. It offers reverse-cycle split system air conditioning & heating Well behaved pets are welcome inside and outside the unit. We provide bowls for your pet. Please bring your pet’s bedding. Remember to put anti tick medication on your dog (Bravecto or similar - Frontline flea, is not strong enough Mallacoota ticks). In summary an economic central place to check out Mallacoota that is pet friendly, back deck, Wifi. Digital TV, two steps and plenty of off-street parking for boats. Unit 12, The Lookout, is a spacious, first floor apartment that boasts a superb waterfront view from the main rooms in the unit and its 35 Square Metre veranda. In addition to three bedrooms, there is a bathroom with a full size bath, full kitchen and laundry with a second toilet, this is the perfect spot for a getaway. We understand unplanned occurrences can upset your reservations, made in good faith. Our policy seeks to balance all concerns including difficulties in re-promoting a unit or cottage that has been withheld to ensure your stay.

Notifications received:

60 days or more from the beginning of the reservation commencement --- complete refund
30 to 59 days from the reservation commencement --- 80% refund
14 to 29 days from reservation commencement ---- 50% refund
13 days or less unless otherwise negotiated will be --- 0% refund.

Go to your unit/cottage (we are well sign-posted)
Try the door to see if it is open for you.
If it is not open, the key box is on the wall next to the front door. The code to open the key box will be given on your confirmation note..

Other Policy

- No person/s must climb on the outside of the building.
- Strictly no party policy. No Noise between 10pm and 8am.
- The number of guest in a unit/cottage shall not exceed the number of guest on the booking in form, unless the manager has been advised and approval given.
- A minimum fee of $100.00 will be charged if you leave the unit dirty or in an untidy state or break or damage any of the property.
- No smoking policy: If you smoke any substance in an apartment, you will be charged full cost for removal of smoke fumes/smell from the apartment and any loss of income for the time the apartment is shut down to the public.
- Bruces Waterside Units managers reserve the rights to terminate the reservation immediately, without refund if the above condition/s are broken
- Management reserve the right to cancel or amend a booking due to unforeseen circumstances.
- GST applies as of 1 July 2021
