We discovered this fabulous inner Melbourne suburb in 2000 when we bought 97 McConnell Street, falling in love with the area as we set about the major renovation of our 1882 weatherboard workers’ cottage.
Being country people we felt at home in the ‘small town’ atmosphere created by the friendly locals and shopkeepers, heritage protected streetscapes and a strong sense of community.
Our home at 97 McConnell St, is a modern B&B, where you have a room in our home with an option of a shared or private bathroom and full use with us of lounge, kitchen and dining rooms.

Getting There : Arriving at Melbourne International Airport, a taxi is the easiest way to Kensington. Alternatively the airport Skybus to Southern Cross Station, then a taxi or train on the Craigburne line to Kensington and a short walk to No. 97 McConnell St.
By car, McConnell St is just off the Melbourne City Link Flemington Road exit, or from the west the Ballarat/Geelong Road.
