Amara Retreat
Amara Retreat House can comfortably accommodate up to 12 guests. The main retreat house consists of 6 twin share rooms. There are four bathrooms, a chef's kitchen, dining, lounge and two large verandahs for lounging. The main house faces North and has spectacular 180-degree views across to Noosa and Mount Cooroy. There is also a steam sauna which can accommodate up to 6 people at a time and it is right next to the Magnesium plunge pool.
On the property, there is also a 100 square meter yoga/seminar facility with the same spectacular views, which is available to those guests who are booking for Retreats.
We also have two self-contained cabins which can accommodate up to 4 people each but is most comfortable as twin share. One is completely off the grid offering solar energy and full bathroom facilities and the other is powered by electricity. They are the most charming cabins and are the epitome of tiny house living. They are available as an extra rental and are charged separately. Please see the listings for them.
Amara is a completely private retreat facility and is available for corporate and health retreats. We are a self-catered retreat and offer you information to help you host your retreat by partnering you up with some of the best practitioners the coast has to offer.

Terms and Conditions
Booking Policy
The Retreat survives entirely on rainwater, so we ask that you and your guests are mindful
of water consumption.
- Please ensure that no chemicals are deposited down the drains at Amara. The property
has biocycle septic systems which rely on friendly bacteria and the use of chemical
products damages the balance of the systems. We supply organic hair, body and hand
wash.
- There is no smoking on the entire property.
- No pets are to be brought onto the property to preserve our wildlife and keep our
accommodation free from pet hair.
- In consideration of our neighbours please keep noise to a minimum and adhere to the
10pm noise curfew.
- We do not host weddings, stag/hen parties or schoolies groups.
- We would appreciate if you could leave the retreat facilities as tidy as possible after your
stay and return anything you may have moved.
- To book any accommodation a cost of one night for each accommodation will be taken as a
deposit. This deposit is non refundable. COVID policy is that if Amara has to close due to
government restrictions, deposits are non refundable but are transferable once within 12
months and can be transferred onto other existing future retreats.
- Please do not rearrange furniture as this can result in damage and charges for moving.
- No extra guests beyond the amount booked, are to come onto the property unless it has
been discussed and agreed to. This does not extend to therapists coming in to treat guests
on a day basis.
