Self-contained chalet accommodation

General Information

Check In : 2pm to 7pm
Check Out : Before 10am
Reception Hours : Mon-Fri 7.30am-7pm, Sat-Sun 8.30am-7pm
After Hours : if your arrival is going to be later than 6pm please either phone or text on 0421852495 or email [email protected] to advise us of your arrival time.
Car Parking : Undercover parking available plus additional parking for extra vehicle or boat.
Getting There : We are located 8kms east of Walpole, or 2kms west of Nornalup at 6845 South Coast Highway (National Highway 1). There are signs at the main entrance and just opposite. Please head to reception on arrival.

2 Bedroom Chalet

Our 2-bedroom chalets can sleep 4 and have a queen bed & 2 singles. An additional single bed can be set up for a 5th person (child or small adult) - please contact us to discuss this option. The bathroom has a walk-in shower and vanity, toilet is separate. All linen is supplied, byo firewood.

3 Bedroom Chalet (wheelchair Accessible)

The 3 Bedroom Chalet contains a queen bed in bedroom 1, a single & double bed in bedroom 2, and a queen bed in bedroom 3. Up to 2 x additional single beds can be set up to accommodate extra guests. Set on a rise with large windows overlooking the Frankland River and the kangaroo feeding area, the chalet features a verandah, fireplace and large all-in-one bathroom with walk-in shower, raised toilet and vanity basin. Grab rails are positioned in the shower and next to the toilet, a shower chair is available to borrow on request. All linen is supplied, byo firewood.

Dining

All chalets have cooking facilities. Dining out options are available in Nornalup (2kms away), Walpole (8kms) or Denmark (57kms).

Terms and Conditions

Booking Policy

A valid credit card is required to confirm your booking. After submitting a booking request we will contact you for any outstanding payment details. Group bookings of 3 or more chalets are not automatically confirmed, please contact us directly to discuss your requirements.

Deposit Policy

A deposit of 1 nights accommodation is required to secure your booking. For peak season 2 nights deposit is required.

Cancellation Policy

Free cancellation within 24 hours of booking, otherwise deposits are not refundable or transferable unless at least 14 days notice of the cancellation or variation is received. If more than 14 days notice of intended cancellation is given, the initial deposit will be refunded less 10% handling fee. Peak season bookings require a 30 day notice for cancellation.
Your booking is for a set time and once confirmed, any change will result in liability for payment of the whole of the time booked unless you have cancelled in accordance with this policy.
Please check your dates carefully. All cancellations must be confirmed in writing.

No Show Policy

In case of no-show or early departure the cancellation fee will equal to the full booking amount.

Child Policy

ALL children aged 2 and older at time of checkout must be included when making your booking. There is no charge for infants and children under 2.

Check-in Policy

All outstanding monies are payable on arrival.
Check-in time 2-7pm. On arrival please head to reception.

Other Policy

GROUP BOOKINGS: group bookings of 3 or more chalets are not automatically confirmed. Please contact us directly to discuss your requirements. Group booking and cancellation policy varies and is available upon request.
All guests are expected to leave the chalet, its fixtures, fittings and furniture, in similar state as found (eg. dishes washed, dried and put away). In the event extra cleaning is required above that generally expected for short-stay accommodation, an extra charge to cover the cost of this additional cleaning will be made to the credit card received at the time of booking.
In the event that any property is damaged maliciously, or beyond normal wear and tear associated with short-stay accommodation, or in the event that property belonging to Riverside Retreat is lost or taken during the course of the stay, Riverside Retreat reserves the right to charge the reasonable cost for repair or replacement of that property to the Guest and the Guest acknowledges that the charge may be debited from the credit card or facility used for payment of the booking.
