Shhh...do you want to know a secret? Sometimes we all need to get away from the hustle and bustle of life and allow ourselves to relax, rejuvenate, reset and reconnect with nature.
Escape to tranquility at Serenity Cottage enviably situated down an enchanting forest clad path, off the Bibbulmun Track and Munda Biddi Trail. This luxurious pioneering cottage was built for the Mill Store Manager’s family, the Jamison's, uniquely set amidst the forest yet only a ten-minute walk from this historic timber town’s amenities. Immerse yourself in nature and unwind in this carefully restored self-contained cottage, promoting relaxation and well-being.
Serenity Cottage can welcome up to four guests, across two large queen bedrooms and there is a pull out sofa bed suitable for young children should guests wish to bring additional bedding. Retaining its heritage charm, the cottage boasts original jarrah floors, high ceilings with elaborate detailing, French doors onto a wrap-around veranda and large fireplaces in the living room (with an inset wood burner) and a kitchen (with an inset new oven). The house has been beautifully furnished, including a romantic four-poster carved bed in the master bedroom and beautiful furnishings throughout. There is a spacious living/dining room with a well-stocked bookcase and a new country-style kitchen, bathroom and separate w/c. The undercover outdoor dining/seating area and well-established cottage gardens are the perfect place to enjoy the sights, scents and sounds of our gardens and spot the wide variety of butterflies, birds, kangaroos as well as the the Milky Way and stars at night.
