Yeagarup Hut and the Yeagarup Campground sit around 2 km from the southern edge of the Yeagarup Dunes in D’Entrecasteaux National Park, about 45 minutes from Pemberton. This is one of WA’s most extraordinary landscapes – the largest land-locked moving dune system in the Southern Hemisphere, with the Southern Ocean only a 6 km 4WD drive from camp where the Warren River meets the sea.
4WD access is essential for both sites. Drivers must be confident in sand driving and able to assist others if required.
When the Hut is unoccupied, the Eco Camp may open for last-minute, low-facility camping.
Each season brings something different – winter campfires, spring wildflowers, summer fishing and canoeing, and calm autumn weather. Both sites suit groups wanting privacy, adventure and genuine wilderness connection.

Getting There : Yeagarup Hut is around 45 minutes from Pemberton township, accessible only by 4WD.
Travel west along the Vasse Highway, then turn left onto Old Vasse Road and right onto Ritter Road.
Follow Ritter Road for 12 km until you reach Yeagarup Lake — this is the point where you’ll reduce tyre pressures (we recommend around 12psi in summer). From here, you’ll 4WD across the Yeagarup Dunes — the largest land-locked dune system in the Southern Hemisphere — before reaching the hut on the southern side of the dunes (around 5km from the lake).
Detailed directions and a map are included in your arrival info pack (sent via Dropbox link). Please review these carefully before your trip. The hut is signposted but we recommend using both the supplied map and Google Maps for ease.
